The Flytog staff are trained to carry out a controlled evacuation of passengers from a Flytog within 5-10 minutes if a decision to evacuate is made, says Ida Marie Fottland, director of communication and sustainability at Flytoget. – Our main conclusion from our own evaluation is that Bane Nor should have limited the number of trains on the tracks at an earlier time, due to several simultaneous faults and several closed tracks. Our experience is that keeping the ordinary traffic going was given too high a priority for too long. Extensive queuing caused major delays for the recovery train, says Fottland.
