This heartfelt tribute came in light of the release of ‘Chespirito: sin querer queriendo’, a television series that pays homage to the memories of the late Mexican icon, Roberto Gómez Bolaños.
In her post, Florinda reflected on the remarkable character of Elsa. “Doña Elsa Bolaños Cacho was a woman far ahead of her time. She always supported Roberto in his artistic pursuits and even wrote poetry and painted. She was not a controlling mother; she was firm yet charming and incredibly witty,” she shared.
Florinda emphasized the unconditional support that Elsa offered to Roberto from the very start of his artistic journey. “When he decided to become a writer, she encouraged him to pursue what made him happy, as that was the essence of true success. Elsa was not a controlling parent but a wise woman who raised her children single-handedly, providing them with a joyful life, even amid economic hardship. Elsa significantly influenced Roberto’s life, always pushing him to believe in his talent,” she added.
