24 October 2023 at 17:38 SVT: Five Swedes arrested in Tunisia – probably linked to Foxtrot Tunisian police confirm to SVT. SVT reports that according to their sources, the five arrested are linked to the criminal network Foxtrot and its leader Rawa Majid. It was the Tunisian website Assabah News that first reported it. The Swedish nationals were arrested on suspicion of drug offences. The men were on their way to the city of Hammamet, when they were stopped by the police. The police then found cigarettes which they suspected contained drugs. This led to a search of the residence, where the police again found drugs. The police relied on information that the men were connected to an international drug network, which was the background for the search. The Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that they are not aware of the case. The Swedish embassy in Tunis has not received any information about the incident either.
