On Friday, the House of Representatives in Congress is expected to approve the bill on gun control, before President Joe Biden can sign the law, reports the news agency AFP. The proposal includes an extended background check for arms buyers under the age of 21. NOK 110 billion in funding for mental health care, and NOK 20 billion for school safety measures. It is referred to as the United States’ most important weapons legislation in almost 30 years.
