The match at Brann Stadion is still 2–1 to the red jerseys in Bergen, and sends Brann on to the third qualifying round in the Serie Liga. Just before the break, Bård Finne gave the Bergensars hope back and equalized at 1-1, with a fine goal from Niklas Castro. Only twelve minutes into the second half, Castro sends another goal-scoring pass to Fredrik Pallesen Knudsen, who sends the ball straight into the corner and gives Brann a 2-1 lead. Campaigns in the third qualifying round will be played on 8 and 15 August. Then Brann will either face Icelandic opposition from the Reykjavik team Valur or Scottish opposition from Saint Mirren.
