Ust-Luga is approximately 110 kilometers from St. Petersburg and 25 kilometers from the border with Estonia. According to Governor Alexander Drozdenko, no one should be injured after the fire. He has published a video on Telegram showing large flames and heavy smoke. Employees were evacuated. The terminal belongs to the Russian oil company Novatek, which is one of Russia’s largest oil and gas companies. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
