The area is a residential area with several houses standing close together. Emergency managers in the town say they chose to evacuate the neighboring houses because there was a significant risk of espionage. – There are two houses that are close together. Both have been evacuated, says incident leader Ivar Kvant in the West police district. The police do not know anything about the cause of the fire. The fire service has mainly worked to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring houses, says Kvant. Heard loud bangs A resident in the area told news that he heard loud bangs from the house when it started to burn. Kvant says the situation was unclear when the fire and police first arrived. – There were many people wandering around here and I had little overview, but I quickly got control of the people living in the houses, says Kvant. No one should have inhaled smoke or been injured in any other way, he says.
