6 August 2022 at 06:43 Fire in a wooden building in Bergen All emergency services responded at 6.30 to a report of a fire and heavy smoke in the wooden building in Marken in Bergen, the West police district says. The police state that the fire is in Grønnesmauet. The 110 center confirms that the fire service is on the scene and has initiated extinguishing. Shortly after 7 o’clock, it is reported that there are no longer open flames at the site, but that there is heat in the construction that the fire brigade is working on. Only one house is affected. 11 residents have been evacuated from the burning house and a neighboring house. No one has been reported injured, the police say.
