The fire service happened to drive past with a ladder truck at 9am when they discovered flames coming out of one of the windows of an apartment building with five homes, the police told news. – We are inside with smoke divers to try to extinguish the fire. There is heavy smoke and something is flaming out of the window on the second floor, says Harald Mogen at 110 Øst to news. There are reportedly five apartments at the address, and one is fully occupied. Nearby homes and neighbors are evacuated. – We have control over some of the people who live at the site, says operations manager Finn Håvard Aas in the East police district to news. It is unclear whether the people who have not been found stay at home, the police say.
