The emergency services are on their way. The police ask that the public stay indoors and not move towards the scene of the fire. According to the 110 central office in the South-East, the fire must have started in an industrial machine in the plant in Weidemanns gate. The fire brigade in Vestfold confirms that there is a fire at a smelting furnace and that the industrial fire brigade is on duty. The fire station at Kopstad is also on site.
