At 1.26pm on Saturday, the police received an emergency call from a farm in Gausdal where a farmer in his 40s was seriously injured in connection with looking after goats in the barn. Emergency services responded, and the injured person was pronounced dead at the scene. Operations manager in the police Kristian Bjaanes says next of kin have been notified. – All next of kin have been notified and offered crisis assistance. The Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority has also been notified, says Bjaanes.
