The pupils have been sent home from Breimyra junior school, after the employees were met by running water when they came to work on Friday morning. Eight sinks in the toilet and in the classroom were covered with paper, and the taps were on. – There was a lot of water here when I arrived today. There is water over large areas, says principal Britt Marit Fjeldstad. School closed The pupils were initially sent home for a few hours, but it has now been decided that the school is closed for the day. The building owner and the school management are working to map the extent and to dry up the water. The police are on the scene and are investigating. – Someone got in during the night, probably through a window they broke open and carried out what appears to be considerable damage, says head of operations in the West police district, Tore André Brakstad. The police have carried out an investigation and are opening a case. – As of now, I have no information that there are any specific suspects, Brakstad told news at half past eleven.
