Mayor Vitali Klitschko writes on social media that there has been an explosion in the central Podil district, and that rockets are still coming towards Kyiv. news’s reporter on the spot says that the flight alarm went off at around eleven o’clock local time. This happens at the same time that an African delegation led by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa is in Kyiv where they will discuss a peace plan for Ukraine with President Volodymyr Zelenskyj. The delegation travels on to Moscow on Saturday to meet President Vladimir Putin.
