Rescue workers do not expect to find anyone alive, writes Sky News. – It is sad to announce that the search and rescue operation has moved into another phase, says police chief Robin Smith. The explosion occurred at around four o’clock local time on Saturday morning, and caused a three-storey block of flats to collapse. Jersey’s gas supplier, Island Energy, says it is working with the fire service to find out how the explosion happened.
