Expert believes the drone attack looks fake – news Urix – Foreign news and documentaries

Jarle Mossing and the other drone experts at the Army Weapons School have studied the video of what the Russians claim is an attack on the Kremlin. They agree with the verdict. – This looks fake. The explosion only causes a lot of flames, light and smoke. That’s how they do it in movies. I think this is done to get good video footage, says Mossing. The Russian authorities claim that Ukraine attempted to carry out a drone attack against the Kremlin in Moscow on the night of Wednesday. Ukraine denies having anything to do with it. He compares the explosion to those that come when “weapon drones” such as the Russian Lancet explode. – Then there is much more power. They have a high-explosive warhead. The drones in the Kremlin appear to have been filled with metal powder. It makes for an impressive bounce, but little damage, says Mossing. Military expert Marcus M. Keupp of the military academy at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology thinks much of the same as Mossing. He writes on Twitter that there was a suspiciously small bang from the large drone. SKEPTICAL: Military expert Marcus M. Keupp thinks the explosion was too low-energy in relation to the size of the drone. Photo: Keupp/Twitter Two drones Two drones were used on the night of Wednesday. Video that has been widely circulated on social media shows both. The first drone explodes against the roof of a dome in the Kremlin. The video and events are geolocated. 16 minutes later, the second drone arrives. It explodes without having come into contact with anything. It appears to be happening right at the flag on top of the dome. No injuries Russian authorities report that the drones did not cause any injuries. It is also not possible to see any damage in the photos taken of the dome afterwards. NO VISIBLE DAMAGE: Photo from Thursday morning. Both the flag and the flagpole appear to have fared excellently through the explosive incident. – These were heavy drones with wings. They were several meters in size. Weapon drones of that size can cause major damage, says Mossing. The Russians claim it was the Ukrainians who attacked with the drones. The office of President Vladimir Putin is in the building where the explosions occurred. The Russians believe it was an attempt to kill Putin. Putin was not in the Kremlin on Wednesday night. Both drones exploded on the roof, and not at any of the windows in the building. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denies that Ukraine is behind the attack. May have been controlled locally Attack drones, i.e. drones that explode at the target, can be controlled in different ways. They can have a pre-programmed course or they can be actively controlled by an operator. Active operators have contact with the drone and see what the drone sees. The Iranian drones the Russians use against targets deep inside Ukraine have pre-programmed courses. Lancet has a combination. The attack drones the Ukrainians use at the front are controlled by an operator at all times. It is believed that the drones that attack oil installations and the like in occupied Crimea are pre-programmed. DRONE EXPERT: Jarle Mossing at the Army Weapons School. Photo: Defense – It’s hard to say, but I assume that the drones that exploded in the Kremlin were controlled through “Line of Sight”. That means there was a direct link between a ground control station and the drone, says Mossing. Mossing, who is an instructor at the Army Weapons School, says he believes it was the Russians themselves who carried out the drone operation. – Yes, I think this was carried out by the Russian authorities. Then as a propaganda video that will create fear and increased support for Russian defence, says Mossing. This also seems to be supported in the analysis from the Institute for the study of war.
