The man was working on renovating the bridge at 01:00 on Thursday night when the excavator came off the edge and fell approximately eight metres. – In the case there, the excavator driver managed to jump out of the cab, and landed approximately side by side next to the excavator in the river, says operations manager Trond Hangaas.
