At a charity concert in Berlin on Sunday, the group’s frontman Oleh Psiuk also auctioned off his characteristic pink bucket hat. All the money goes to the Ukrainian defense. The Kalush Orchestra won the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin on 15 May. The victory was interpreted as a declaration of solidarity from the public in countries across Europe in connection with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
