15 September 2022 at 11:27 Equinor sounds the alarm about unknown drones in the North Sea Equinor has reported to the police about drone activity around at least three platforms in the North Sea. Anonymous sources in the defense think it is probably a government actor who is behind it. That’s what the website Aldri More writes, which, among other things, writes about Norway’s defense capabilities. The police confirm to the website that they are aware of observations of drones around platforms in the area, but will not comment on the matter further. The Norwegian Armed Forces’ operational headquarters will not say anything about the Cork observations or whether the Norwegian Defense Forces operate drone flights in the area. The Petroleum Safety Authority shall not have answered the website’s questions about the case. There will be platforms on the Gullfaks C field, the Snorre A field and especially the Johan Sverdrup platform where such drones were observed.
