Eastern Norway will have a warm November weekend – news Vestfold and Telemark – Local news, TV and radio

On the night of Friday, 18.8 degrees were measured at Sunndalsøra in Møre og Romsdal. This is a new record for this late in the year. And we will enjoy the high temperatures in several places in the country throughout the weekend. – Especially in Eastern Norway and around Oslo, around 14 degrees is expected, and some places are up and sniffing the 15s. This is what meteorologist at the Meteorological Institute, Ingvild Villa, says. She explains the record at Sunndalsøra by the fact that they experienced a hair dryer effect. For the rest of the country in the next few days, the high temperatures are due to the heavy rainfall, which brings wind from the south. Spring feeling On the pier in Tønsberg, we meet Emil Dahl, who is an apprentice in the boat trade. He stands and plans what will become a replica of a Viking ship. For Dahl, who works outside, the warm weather is long-awaited. – Good weather is always good. Sun is preferred over cloud, especially with the last few days being rainy. He himself has never experienced such high temperatures in the middle of November. He will enjoy the weekend outside with family and friends. – It is very strange. It’s heading towards winter now, so it feels like spring. LONG LONGERED: Emil Dahl thinks it’s good to have a few sunny days after many rainy days out at work. Photo: Linn Udnes / news Tore Homleid enjoys a cup of coffee in the sun wall at a cafe in the center of Tønsberg. He is enjoying the sun, and hopes that the weather stays like this for a while after all the rain in recent days. – It’s lovely now. It’s almost southern temperatures here, says Homleid. Is it only positive? Despite the fact that many are looking forward to a weekend of sunshine and high temperatures in several parts of the country, the joy may come with an aftertaste. Because is it really okay with night temperatures approaching 20 degrees in the middle of November? – Now it is a simple weather event that we can explain very easily with the low pressure that brings warmer air with it, so that we cannot necessarily link a single situation directly to climate change. – But it is clear that these heat records we get at regular intervals, and that they are coming more frequently, it is worrying and linked directly to climate change, says the meteorologist. The meteorologists also write on Twitter that Oslo now gets four times as many heat waves as it did 30 years ago. That means five days in a row where the temperature is above 28 degrees. – We hope that you will be able to turn it around, and that you won’t have to get used to it. But there is a little warning for all of us. 28 degrees, it’s very hot. WARM: Friday offers good and warm autumn weather in Tønsberg. But the temperature also rises in the north when the wind spreads upwards in our elongated country. Tromsø, which has snow on Friday afternoon, will get around 7 degrees this weekend, the meteorologist reports.
