According to the American earthquake observatory USGS, the earthquake had a magnitude of 7.1. The epicenter of the earthquake was 170 kilometers out to sea southeast of Teluk Dalam. The depth is estimated to be 15.5 kilometers. Updated: The tsunami warning has been cancelled, the Indonesian authorities report.
