16 July 2023 at 16:35 E18 reopened after fallen tree in Bærum A large birch tree fell across the road and blocked E18 inbound at Strand/Stabekk in Bærum at 4.30pm on Sunday. The tree has now been removed and the road has been reopened, the police write on Twitter. Several motorists began to clear the road before the fire brigade arrived. No one was injured, but a car suffered some dents after hitting the tree. A couple of other places in Greater Oslo also had to lose trees to the strong gusts of wind on Sunday afternoon.
