3 February 2024 at 12:26 Dumped kittens in a kindergarten On Monday this week, the children in Lia kindergarten at Ellingsrud in Oslo found four kittens. This is what the deputy director of Animal Protection in Oslo and Akershus, Anette Marie Kartalias Andersen, says. – The children discovered the kittens inside the area and reported it to the adults. Three of the kittens are seven weeks old and one is 19 weeks old. Animal protection still does not know who dumped the cats. – Now it is also the case that some kittens were found that were very similar to these here this summer. So we are afraid that they come from the same person. Kartalias Andersen says dumping of kittens is something that happens often. – There are also colonies where the cats go around and have children, who then become homeless. It’s a huge problem. The kittens are now in a foster home and will eventually be neutered, chipped and vaccinated before they can be adopted when they are 14 weeks old.
