Drug environment involved – news Troms and Finnmark

– I can confirm that the environment we work against is known to the police, for drug crime. This is what police prosecutor Anja Indbjør in the police in Finnmark tells news. On 17 June, a man was reported missing in Rustefjelbma in Tana. On Saturday 24 June, the police reported that a man in his 20s was charged and detained with a letter and visiting ban for four weeks in connection with the disappearance. Two days later, a dead person was found a few kilometers from where the missing person was last seen. Then a few days pass before the police confirm that the missing person and the dead person are the same. Police prosecutor Anja Mikkelsen Indbjør says they still want to hear from people who may have seen something when a man was missing and later found killed in Tana. Now the police can say that the accused was there to look for the missing person. – The accused was involved in the search, confirms Indbjør in the police. Demanding investigation The police are now going through all the clues and details in the case, in addition to what they have seized from the accused 20-year-old. – Much of what is happening now is review of electronic traces, DNA traces, review of seizures and questioning of witnesses. This is demanding work and takes time, explains Indbjør in the police. – It is a demanding investigation. The police in Tana confirmed that it was the missing Marcus Unsal who was found dead at Smalfjordvann in Tana municipality. He was first reported missing on 17 June. We cannot rule anything out at this stage of the investigation, says Indbjør. In the investigation, the police also called for two cars, which they now say they have control over. – As far as the cars are concerned, we have control over them, but are still interested in observations if someone should be inside with it.
