In October 2021, during the filming of the western film “Rust”, Baldwin fired a prop revolver which turned out to be loaded with real bullets. Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was hit by the bullet and died. Baldwin has maintained that he did not know that the revolver was loaded, and that he is innocent. The charge against Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who was in charge of weapons during the recording, has also been dropped, reports the website.
