Molde was close to securing a point away to Belgian Gent in the Serie Liga on Thursday evening, but eventually lost 1-2 after a late overtime goal from the home team. The blue ended up behind after 24 minutes when Noah Fadiga knocked the ball into the goal for the home team. Molde pressed on in the second half, and twelve minutes before the end the equalizer came. Mats Møller Dæhli wide-sided the ball into the far corner from ten meters out and secured 1-1. Five minutes into extra time, Archibald Norman Brown secured the win for Gent when he scored 2-1. The Romsdalingen stand with three points after two games in the Serieligaen.
