27 May 2023 at 16:57 Goal celebration for Brann – blow in the face for Riise Larissa Crummer and Maria Brochmann scored two goals each in Brann’s 5-2 victory over Røa on Saturday. The reigning series champion took his second straight victory in the Toppserien. After just over ten minutes, Australian Crummer opened the goal account in Brann. A few minutes later, Ragne Svastuen equalized for Røa. Brochmann responded immediately with a header that sent the home team back into the lead. Crummer then made it 3-1 later in the inning. After the break, Brochmann registered his second score of the day. Røa striker Julie Klæboe reduced the lead, before Marte Bratberg Lund set the score at 5-2 in overtime. Brann still continues in 4th place with his 17 points. LSK are three points ahead of the red-clad after the victory against Lyn on Saturday. Inside runner Emma Stølen Godø secured a 2-0 victory after two goals against the old club. Stabæk player Meryll Abrahamsen also scored against the old club when she lobbed in 1-0 against Arna-Bjørnar. The latter nevertheless fought back and won 4-2. John Arne Riise’s Avaldsnes had to see points drop three minutes into overtime against Åsane. Mathilde Sangolt was the match winner in the match they won 1-0. (NTB)
