DNB earned NOK 15.3 billion before tax in the third quarter – Latest news – news

Storbanken earned 13.2 billion in the same quarter last year. The result comes from operating income of NOK 22.8 billion, compared to NOK 20.9 billion in the same quarter in 2023. The good results are due, among other things, to the fact that lending volumes are increasing in all of DNB’s three customer segments. Growth was 0.3 per cent in the Norwegian business market and 4.7 per cent in the segment large companies and international customers. In the retail market, it was 0.8 per cent. – There has been a clear change of pace in customer behavior throughout the summer and into the autumn. Competition in the Norwegian banking market is still fierce, and we are happy that more and more of the customers who are on the move choose to come to us, says Kjerstin Braathen, CEO of DNB.
