On Friday, divers from the fire service discovered a dead person in the sea at Brufjellhålene, on the border between Agder and Rogaland. The discovery was made in connection with a planned search for a Polish citizen in his 20s, who has been missing since 24 March. The man and his girlfriend were walking in the area when they fell into the lake, and the woman was found dead a short time later. The person was found at a depth of 18 metres, the police state in a press release. Relatives are informed – The person bears the mark of having been in the sea for a long time. The person has not been identified, but findings at the scene indicate that there are missing people who have now been found, says police station chief in Flekkefjord and Kvinesdal police station district, Liv Versland Seland. Around three weeks ago, Flekkefjord municipality had a meeting with the police after another dead person was found in the sea at the well-known tourist destination. In connection with the meeting, the councilor in Flekkefjord, Bernhard Nilsen, said that they will conduct a new review of the section from Brufjell down to Brufjellhålene. It is to see if the information about the route or the marking down to the Brufjellhålene itself should be changed.
