7 September 2022 at 10:00 Discovery of a dead person at Fornebu The Oslo police received a report at 09.20 about what the reporting person believed to be a person in or near the water at Fornebulandet. – It was initiated as a rescue operation initially. On arrival at the area in question, a person was found, who was declared dead on the spot, says operations manager Bjørn Gunnar Nysæter to news. The police do not yet know who the person is, so next of kin have not been notified. – We are investigating the scene and have more hypotheses that we are working on – We do not want to go out with more details now, neither about the person nor the surrounding circumstances. – Do you suspect that something criminal may have happened? – We have no concrete suspicions about it, but it is one of the hypotheses we always want to have with us.
