7 April 2023 at 13:35 Died in the avalanche in Lyngen The police report that the Italian man in his 20s who was admitted to the University Hospital in Northern Norway with critical injuries after being caught by the avalanche in Kvalvikdalen in Lyngen on March 31 died at UNN on Thursday 6. April. Those left behind have been notified. According to the Italian newspaper Il Giornale Di Vicenza, it was 25-year-old Italian Pietro De Bernadini who died as a result of his injuries on Thursday. Matteo Cazolla also died in the same landslide. The avalanche in Kvalvikdalen on 31 March 2023 thus claimed two lives.
