20 October 2023 at 08:29 Deposed ministers have been given new positions in the Labor Party’s parliamentary group On Friday, the Labor Party’s parliamentary group made a number of changes in the distribution of positions. Several ministers who have recently had to resign have now been given new positions in the Storting group. Anniken Huitfeldt becomes faction leader for the Business Committee, Anette Trettebergstuen joins the work and social committee, Bjørnar Skjæran joins the labor committee and the finance committee, Marte Mjøs Persen becomes faction leader in the transport committee, and Hadia Tajik becomes the Labor Party’s new justice policy spokesperson. Huitfeldt, Skjæran and Mjøs Persen had to resign this week as, respectively, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans and Minister of Labor and Inclusion. Trettebergstuen previously had to resign as Minister of Culture and Equality as a result of having breached the government’s competence regulations, and Tajik had to resign as Minister of Labor and Inclusion last year after the commuter housing case.
