Red Bull adviser Helmut Marco also confirms to Viaplay that Hauger is finished, according to VG. – Yes, he loses his place. Not everyone can get into Formula 1, says Helmut. Hauger has been part of the Red Bull academy since he was 14, and became champion in Formula 3 in 2021. The last two seasons in Formula 2, however, have not been as successful. – I am grateful for Red Bull’s support over the past six years, says Hauger in the press release. He will continue in Formula 2 in 2024. – I am fully focused on that. I’m still only 20 years old and with good results next year, doors will open, says Hauger. Hauger told news earlier this week that the next season would probably be his last chance to achieve his Formula 1 dream. As mentioned, this Formula 2 season will end in Abu Dhabi in November.
