The fraud-accused southerner Jan Helge Furu denies criminal guilt. That’s what the 61-year-old said when the trial against him started in Ringerike, Asker and Bærum district court today. The southerner is accused of defrauding himself of at least NOK 17 million. Økokrim started an investigation against him after news’s revelations in the Brennpunkt documentary “Millioneventyret” in 2021. Furu told the court that he currently lives in Farsund, and that he works as a consultant.
