17 February 2023 at 16:12 Denied criminal guilt for the murder of Nichols The five police officers charged with the murder of Tire Nichols denied criminal guilt when they were brought to court on Friday. 29-year-old Nichols died three days after he was beaten and severely beaten by five Memphis police officers on January 7. The policemen were all fired and are now charged with murder. The five were arraigned in a Shelby County court on Friday. There they pleaded not guilty to murder, assault and abduction.
