– Crime scene technicians have been to the scene and some questioning has been carried out. We have no reason to believe that anything criminal has happened. The two have a family relationship, but Skottmyr will not go into what type of family relationship it is. Skottmyr says that they have no idea about the cause of death and that they will not be able to say anything about it until an autopsy report is available. The next of kin have been notified. – They are Norwegian citizens, and they are not known to us from before, says Skottmyr. Unknown cause of death He says that the emergency services moved out after receiving a report of concern from an acquaintance of one of the deceased, who had not been able to get in touch with the person concerned. – Someone tried to get in touch with the elder without success. Currently, we have no idea how long they have been dead, says Skottmyr. It is not clear when a preliminary autopsy report will be ready. – The case is being investigated as a suspicious death, but that is because we have two people here with an unknown cause of death, says Skottmyr. – Deeply tragic Mayor Grunde Wegar Knudsen in Kragerø says the municipality is ready to provide a crisis team if the relatives want this. – It is deeply tragic when this happens.
