Pupils and staff at Egge secondary school in Steinkjer were met on Monday morning by broken windows and doors, things that had been torn down from walls and knocked over. There must also be an empty powder apparatus inside the school. – It is extensive in the entire internal area of the school, says police contact for Steinkjer and Inderøy, Ole Tuset. He estimates that there is a question of several hundred thousand in damages, and that the vandalism took place on the night of Monday. Two charged On Monday afternoon, the police announced that they have charged two youths with the damage at the school. One must be over the criminal minimum age of 15, while the other must be younger. – They have acknowledged the relationship. They have been questioned today, investigation manager Kjetil Mollan tells news. A major clean-up job is needed before the school can open after the vandalism. We will gather downstairs at the town hall, and then we plan to gather the students at the cultural center tomorrow.
