7 June 2023 at 07:38 Danske Bank leaves the Norwegian private market Following a strategic review, Danske Bank has decided to focus its operations in Norway within the corporate and large customer segment. As a consequence of this, they will no longer want to continue the investment in the retail market, and a process has thus been initiated for a possible sale of this part of the branch. The bank writes this in a press release. The bank emphasizes that nothing will change for you as a customer now. – We have very good customers in the private market and are aware of a great responsibility. Our customers do not need to do anything as part of the process surrounding a possible sale of this part of the branch, and we are confident of finding good solutions that are in the best interest of our retail customers, says Erlend Angelfoss, country manager at Danske Bank Norge.
