The reason relates more specifically to the amount of the substance capsaicin found in chili peppers. Sold in controversial candy store Customers who have bought the product can throw it away or return it to the store, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority informs. The product is sold in online shops and kiosks all over the country. Among other things, it is sold at the store Fast Candy, which has branches in Bergen, Sandvika and Oslo. news has not yet succeeded in getting a comment from the store. Fast Candy is a very popular candy store among young people. In March 2023, the store chain was banned by the Food Industry’s Professional Committee (MFU), for breaching the due diligence rule, which applies to marketing to children and young people. In addition, the store has received orders from the Norwegian Data Protection Authority to change monitoring practices.
