Cycling summer with minute-by-minute broadcast on news – news Sommer

news with project manager Thomas Hellum has previously produced summer programs with minute-by-minute broadcasts such as Hurtigruten, Sommertoget, Lars Monsen, Sommerbilen and Sommerskuta. This summer it is ready for three weeks of Cycling Summer minute by minute, and the idea has been in development for a long time. The plan was to implement this in the summer of 2020, but the corona and infection control regulations meant that Sommerbilen had to take over that time. A natural embarrassment of that was to think: what haven’t we moved on by now? Håvard Jenssen produces minute by minute from the director’s bag, Espen Kremer Prøsch helps guide Monsen minute by minute. So we have to invent new things and we have to come up with new solutions, explains Hellum. The testing of different types of cycling TV studios is nearing its goal. He believes they will get very close to people and nature on the trip. – Is there really a better way to experience things along the way than to do it at a slow, leisurely cycling pace? Then I think you both see and experience more than you would with a car. The slow-motion TV general emphasizes that this should not be a race. Everything must be done at a leisurely pace, and in collaboration with the Swedish Road Administration, the police and cycling clubs. The cycling routes also go through varied and beautiful nature. Cycling summer starts in Nordland with the route Brønnøysund-Nesna, 5-9. July. From 12.-16. In July it is Møre and Romsdal’s turn. The cycle tour goes from Bremsnes to Urke. The last week of cycle delivery will be from Elvesæter to Aulestad in Inlandet from 18-23. July. Visualisation: Anders Nøkling The reason these areas were chosen is, among other things, that they are looking for places they have not been with their summer broadcasts before. – This means that we come to new places, but also to smaller places. My experience is that commitment, pride and joy in where one lives is inversely proportional to the number of inhabitants, says Hellum. The broadcasts will run from Wednesday to Sunday with live minute-by-minute broadcasts during the day, and an evening broadcast that will be recorded when the cycling group reaches the day’s goal around 5pm each day.
