1 August 2024 at 09:36 Convicted of serious money laundering in the van industry Two men have been convicted of money laundering in excess of NOK 7.5 million. The money originates from black labor in the van industry, writes Økokrim in a press release. One man has been sentenced to two years and two months in prison, while the other man has been sentenced to one year in prison. The case is part of a larger case complex. A total of seven people have been sentenced to prison. Six of the sentences are final. The sentences apply to, among other things, serious money laundering, serious financial fraud and serious tax evasion. Judgments have also been handed down for confiscation of a total of just over NOK 4 million in the case complex, writes Økokrim.
