Almost no one reads hundreds of articles, published daily, by a whole myriad of Russian propaganda sites. Person, except robots: a series of research articles published by organizations of combating American Sunlight Project, Newsguard and DFRLAB show that the content of the “Pravda” network, also called “Portal Kombat”, are among the texts absorbed by the artificial intelligence tools (IA). They thus feed, in some cases, the answers provided to questions about the war in Ukraine or international policy.
Pravda is a Propaganda group group whose activity is well documented. This set of websites publishes up to more than 1,500 articles per day, in five languages, to defend the Kremlin and denigrate Ukraine and the West. Its audience is almost naked: despite the use of advanced referencing techniques, the French body for combating disinformation Viginum noted that, at the end of 2023, the entire network only received around 31,000 visits per day.
