26 October 2022 at 14:26 The kindergarten strike: Contact between the parties There will now be contact between the PBL kindergartens (National Association of Private Kindergartens) and the Trade Union, the Education Association and Delta. – The parties have spoken today. We think that is positive. But the talks have so far not led to any result or to a real mediation, says leader of negotiations Espen Rokkan in PBL. The core of the dispute has been pensions. The employees believe that PBL has committed itself to a transition to the joint pension scheme (AFP) from next year in several protocols, which PBL has rejected. There was a break in the mediations on 15 October, and from Monday 17 October just over 1,000 kindergarten employees went on strike. Until now, around 2,000 employees in 220 kindergartens in 16 municipalities have been covered by the strike. (news/NTB)
