29 August 2023 at 10:46 Considering reporting Kim Friele vandalism The portrait of Kim Friele in Kim Friele’s place outside the town hall in Bergen has been tagged down during the night. – This is vile and unacceptable. This should be a place for inclusion and diversity, says mayor Linn Engø (Ap) to news. The mayor says she will consider asking the city council to report the vandalism. Neither Engø nor the manager of outdoor operations in the Urban Environment Agency, Trude Jordal, can say anything about whether the artwork can be saved or must be recreated. – I discovered it on the way to work, and it doesn’t look good. As far as I know, this is the first time we have had such vandalism at Kim Friele’s place, says Jordal. It was BA who mentioned the incident first. The newspaper also writes that someone has written “Pedoplassen” on a wall nearby, which may indicate that the vandalism is linked to Aftenposten’s mention of a pedophile working group which in 1982 was taken up in DNF 1948 with Kim Friele’s support. The association Fri has recently apologized and distanced itself from the support.
