28 November 2022 at 08:28 Collision between a fire truck and a passenger car – several to hospital Major material damage has been reported in connection with a traffic accident between a fire truck on call and a passenger car at the E6/Svenskveien traffic lights. The driver of the car and four fire crews are sent to hospital for treatment. The police have started an investigation at the scene. – At 07.32 we receive a report that there has been a traffic accident at a traffic light between a fire truck on call and a car. The fire engine has driven off the road and tipped over on its side. No one was trapped, says operations manager Ina Selfors. The 4 crew members in the fire truck and the driver of the car have been attended by health personnel and have been sent on to hospital for treatment. The police do not yet know anything about the sequence of events. – The police have started an investigation and will question those involved. As of now, we have not received any feedback about the extent of the damage, says Selfors. According to incident leader Arild Voldmo at the scene, those involved are slightly injured. The police are continuing their investigation to determine the cause. – We will close the northbound E6 from the light-regulated intersection at Svenskveien/E6 down to the E6/E12 intersection. It will be closed for several hours in the future. We want crews on site to direct traffic, says Voldmo to news.
