Now she has to give up the record attempt. The mountaineer himself states this in a press release. Harila has not received permission to climb the last two mountains, she writes from Kathmandu, Nepal. The remaining peaks are Cho Oyu and Shishapangma. However, the mountaineer has climbed 12 of the 14 peaks over 8,000 metres. – Right now I am on my way back to Norway to spend time with family and loved ones, writes Harila in the press release.
