The fun doesn’t have to stop after the very first Norwegian hide-and-seek champion was named this year! Here it’s like in the small goodies shelf: Pick the pieces you like and put them together to suit you and your group of friends. The game is arranged in as many rounds as you like. This is how you carry out hide and seek like in the NM Each round consists of three exercises. The aim of the first two exercises is to find out how many seconds each participant has to hide in exercise 3: “Find or disappear”. Graphics: Monster In each of the first two exercises, the athletes can win between ten and 100 seconds. Distribution of points and seconds The position you get in exercises 1 and 2 gives the hider a given number of seconds in exercise 3. You therefore add up the seconds from exercises 1 and 2 to find the start time in “Find or disappear”. 1st place 100 seconds 2nd place 90 seconds 3rd place 80 seconds 4th place 70 seconds 5th place 60 seconds 6th place 50 seconds 7th place 40 seconds 8th place 30 seconds 9th place 20 seconds 10th place 10 seconds With fewer athletes, the maximum time will be shorter. So that with nine athletes, the maximum time you can win is 90 seconds. With eight athletes, the maximum time is 80 seconds and so on. Graphics: Monster The goal in the first exercise is to find out who is the best at familiar and beloved children’s games. Here, it is important to have both the physique and the head with you. The exercises that can be competed in are: Tail nibbling In this game, it is about nibbling the tail (or a piece of cloth attached to the waistband) from the other participants. It’s all against all. Each tail counts for one point, and you can nibble as long as you have your own tail. The game takes place in three rounds. Everyone gets their tail back after each round. Each round lasts 3 minutes. The total of how many tails you collect determines which place you get on the results list. The box goes Pull one who will be looking. The searcher counts to 30 and then starts looking for the others. When the searcher finds a participant, he must run to the box and shout “(Name) on box!”. The searcher starts at the bottom of the list, but for each athlete he ticks, he jumps up one place. XXXXXXXLThe Widow’s SisterOne person is drawn to search and the others hide. Those caught must hold hands and form a chain. The searcher’s goal is to get as many links as possible. The searcher climbs up the results list for each new participant that is taken. The dispute is: The later in the link, the further down the results list. If you stay without being caught, you end up on top! Herring in a barrel One participant is drawn as a herring and gets two minutes to hide within an agreed area. Now it’s about finding the herring for the rest! If you find the herring, you must hide in the same place. The herring leads, but for every searcher who finds it, the herring is pushed down the list. Each new herring ends up above the previous herring. If you can’t find the herring, you end up at the bottom of the list. The exercise lasts 10 minutes. The chair game Line up chairs in a circle, but have one chair less than the number of participants. The game master puts on music. When the music stops, all you have to do is find a chair to sit on. Anyone who doesn’t get a chair is out. Whoever gets the last chair has won the game and tops the score list. PS Can be played with bicycles or trolleybuses and parking spaces instead of chairs, if you have this available. Graphics: Monster The aim in the second exercise is to see if the participants have the qualities needed in hide and seek. The exercises that can be competed in are: Ring the bell and run! The game master must stand in the same place and turn away. The hider “knocks” and runs to hide. The time before the seeker turns around decreases with each round: 15, 12, 9, 6 and 3 seconds. The hider can only hide in agreed places. The further away, the higher the score (determine the score yourself). For every time the game master turns and the hider is not seen, the hider gets points. Add up the points. Observation The game master lays out several objects for the participants to find, for example apples. In two minutes, you must find as many people as possible within a given place. These must be delivered to the game master before the two minutes are up. For each apple you find, you get 10 seconds for the summary. Stamina All participants must hide equally behind various objects. A draw is made as to which object the hiders should stand behind. The game master must stand in one place, see the objects and watch the hiders take their places. Now it’s about being able to stay hidden from the game master for, say, 15 minutes. If the game master sees a hider during that time, the hider is out. Those who are not seen end up on top.CreativityIn this test, the athletes must hide one by one from the game master. They must hide within a certain area, and they must have access to items they can hide behind. When the hider is satisfied, the game master is called, who turns around and approves whether the hider is invisible. The winner is the one who takes the shortest time. Maximum time is five minutes. The hiders have as many attempts as they want within that time. Silent The participants are blindfolded and placed in a room. Here it is about making as little noise as possible, so that the other participants cannot find you. Each participant receives five sticky notes. They must try to attach these to the other participants without getting patches on themselves. Each round lasts 3 minutes. You get one point for each patch you get rid of, and one minus point for each patch you have stuck on you. Graphics: Monster The aim in exercise three is to find the most of those who are hiding. Now the times from the introduction and the ability test are added together. Then you arrive at how many seconds the various participants have to hide. If someone has the same overall time, the worst place in the ability test determines. If it is still the same, the classic is implemented: Rock, scissors, paper. Rock, scissors, paper Graphics: Colourbox/news How to play rock, scissors, paper: Each player starts with a clenched fist. Both players move their hand up and down three times. On the third “blow”, players reveal a chosen character. The signs you can choose from are: Stone (clenched fist) Scissors (two outstretched fingers) Paper (flat hand) Stone hits scissors. Scissors beat paper. Paper beats stone. There are a few tricks you can use to increase your probability of winning: Try to be unpredictable Look for a pattern, consciously or unconsciously, in your opponent. Choose the one that would have been beaten by your opponent’s previous throw. Do not choose stone as your first move. Scissors are a good first choice. The emergency solution is to go for paper. If someone hides outside the area, they will be washed. Photo: Monster The exercise is organized in a given area. It is important that both the hiders and the seekers relate to this. The area can change throughout the exercise if the game master wants to shrink it, for example after 5, 10 or 15 minutes. Whoever has collected the fewest seconds during the introduction and ability test starts as Seeker 1. Seeker 1 counts down from 200. Photo: Monster The first Seeker 1 finds becomes Seeker 2. These two now fight to remain in the competition. Magnus “bloodhound” Devold gets ready as searcher 2. Photo: Monster The two will compete in finding as many as possible of those who are hiding. Whoever finds the most wins. Whoever finds the fewest disappears. General rules in “Find or disappear” You don’t cheat in hiding All participants must have as fair a starting point as possible It is not allowed to lock yourself or others in or out of rooms/areas It is always the game master’s rules that apply and who judge in case of doubt But there is a way out for the hiders The game master has hidden an unknown number of cards around the field and gives clues as to how these can be found for the hiders. These are called free cards and can be used to get out of the estate when you are found. The game master can download free cards from here and print them out: One round thus consists of three exercises, and it is one of the searchers who escapes from “Find or disappear”. Continue until you are left with one winner! Then you have found your very own master of hiding. Then all that remains is to wish you luck! Remember: Whoever takes part in the game must endure the roasting. It becomes intimate in the forest when the searcher has to make room for everyone who finds him. The duel between the scouts becomes intense. Published 17.11.2024, at 16.47
