There is no known relationship between the deceased and the driver, says Troms police district on X/Twitter. A child on a bicycle was hit by a car in Senja municipality, in what the police believed appeared to be a serious accident. The emergency services were on the scene and the child received medical treatment on the spot, the police reported at 16.43. The police say they have control over the driver of the car.
