23 February 2023 at 14:53 Charged after man died after violence on Skjetten A man is charged with grievous bodily harm resulting in death after another man died on Skjetten last night. – There was an incident of violence which unfortunately had a tragic outcome, says police attorney Torgeir Lutro in the East police district. He will be produced for imprisonment on Friday, and will be questioned today. – The deceased is a Norwegian citizen. The accused is a foreign citizen. I can state that there is a familial relationship between the accused and the deceased, says Lutro. Romerikes Blad mentioned the case first. There were witnesses to the violent incident, which took place in a private residence on Skjetten. – The witnesses are looked after by the municipality’s crisis team, says Lutro.
