Shortly afterwards, the police reported on X that the person had been brought ashore. – How did it go to rescue the person? – It went very well. Surface rescuers from the fire service in Tønsberg were quickly on the scene, and were able to get him out of the car. The police further state that the person who was in the car is a minor boy. He is checked out by paramedics at the scene. – The boy is taken home with his guardians. It appears that the car has been parked, that the handbrake has been removed and that the car has rolled into the water, says operations manager Espen Reite at the South-East police district.
