1 February 2024 at 15:50 VG: Car in the Oslofjord – two people picked up by a sauna boat The emergency services are at Akershusstranda in connection with a car ending up in the water. The Oslo police received a report about the incident at 15.39. – It was said quite early on that there would be two people in the car. The two people were taken on board a nearby sauna boat after a relatively short time, says operations manager Bjarne Pedersen. The police do not yet know why the car ended up in the water and it has sunk. The fire service has searched around the car. There is nothing to indicate that there are other people in the water, according to the police. -How are things going with the two people who were picked up from the water? – It appears to me that they are relatively unharmed apart from being cold.
